Editorial Policy
Editorial policy: what we publish, what we never publish, sourcing rules, originality, and corrections.
Editorial policy — how this site works
What we publish
Systems, data, and policy explainers only — how public-health systems work, what published global data shows, and how policies compare across countries.
What we never publish
Symptom checkers, diagnosis or treatment advice, dosage or drug advice, personal risk scores, personal diet or weight advice, personal vaccine advice, and “is this safe for me” checkers.
Sourcing
Every load-bearing statistic carries number, year, and an official source (WHO, UNICEF, CDC, or equivalent official publisher) with a link to the original. WHO text is summarised in original words, never copied wholesale.
Originality
Articles are written from sources, not copied from WHO, CDC, or NHS pages. No fake author, credential, or affiliation is used. Reviewers have been appointed for the site’s health topics; their names are published once their sign-off on the relevant content is confirmed, and the author bio stays blank.
Corrections
Errors are corrected openly on the Corrections page with the date and what changed.
Review
Figures are reviewed every six months, or sooner when a cited source publishes a new edition.
